B-holding• Safety in public trash disposal

Hoet&Hoet commissioned MAXIMALdesign to translate the new graphic identity for the Belgian Train station to an important piece of street furniture for “The Station”, specifically a recycle bin.

The National Railway Company of Belgium -NMBS/SNCB- installed during this year the special “see through” recycle bins in the train stations. The railways chose for this kind of bins to minimize security problems..

At this stage the first batch of 300 bins is delivered to the main stations of belgium. Feedback is very positive from the public; not only is the bin perceived as an icon within the trainstation environment, but the recycling accuracy is very high while maintance remains easy… The bins are made by belgian company Engels from Zonhoven, who are also taking care of the maintanance aspect…

COOLIO • made-to-measure soft isolation cover

COOLIO-INTERNATIONAL
made to measure isolation cover

Coolio International is a Belgian company specializing in combining POS material and communication service with a cooling function integrated in the POS furniture. This unique combination gives Coolio an advantage over standard proposition in the shop floor.

Specifically for their Freshboard product, the ‘printed housing’ can be changed to stay to date with the latest actions and promotional activities. In effect the cooling unit will have to be stored once and a while and in order to protect the core element, Coolio has asked MAXIMALdesign to design and develop a cover bag.  Protection, isolation, resistant to wear and tear and functionalities like carry handles, dissipation areas and interchangeable communication pockets make this accessory unique in its field.

We organised the sample making, pre-production care and transport of the full production from the Far East.

Other companies which have been using our design/manufacture service in the past are ZAI, FENDT, EXTREMIS and INTELLECT.
