About Alma

ALMA, a very well-known brand of university student-restaurants in Leuven (Belgium), celebrates it’s 50th anniversary with a total restyling created by MAXIMALdesign. The restaurants were outdated and didn’t appeal anymore to the target group of university students.

Total restyling of Alma

The project included:

• a new brand positioning and brand identity
• interior design of ALMA 2 restaurant
• furniture design
• signalization design

The bottomline: increase in turnover of 35% after 1 year

What about design and the bottomline? ALMA2 had a growth in turnover of more than 35% after our rebranding and restyling. In the meantime ALMA commissioned our agency to create a new experience for restaurant De Spuye in Heverlee.
