A staircase is not only a functional necessity for the home but should be an extra value like a pair of glasses are for the face. MAXIMALdesign designed a contemporary staircase around a functional need, mixed with personalization.
Steps are in family surroundings often used as storage so why not accentuating this function by using extra deep and closed steps. Optionally the material and handrail can be chosen and personalized. Even indirect lighting can be foreseen. The introduction proved successful both for architect & consumer.
