The V4000 product range is a solution for contactless public transport trip validation. The impact resistant and compact housing is an upgrade from the V3000 products. It is backward compatible (can be mounted on the the V3000 existing backshells in the field) and has superior validation performances.
The products can be personalised according to the transportation needs: with or without interface buttons (85% of all projects will have no need for buttons) and a frontfield which can be printed to the desired needs and identity of the transportation organisation.
On the technical side the product is designed to DFA standards (design for assembly) so a fully technical pre-assembly can be tested before closing the housing to the strictest security standards.
Prodata Systems commissioned MAXIMALdesign to assist them with the entire new product design en development process: requirements analysis and design brief, conceptualization and ideation of the new range, industrial design, mechanical engineering, design for assembly (DFA) and production planning.
